Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AttendanceX — including the Google Meet add-on, web application, or any associated API — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

AttendanceX is a SaaS attendance management platform built on Google Workspace. It enables educational institutions to automate attendance tracking, reporting, and notifications across Google Meet and Google Classroom.

• Real-time attendance tracking via Google Meet
• Automated SMS and email notifications for absences
• Analytics dashboards and exportable reports
• Multi-institution management with role-based access

Authorized Use

The service is intended for authorized educational staff (teachers, administrators, managers) within licensed institutions. You agree not to:

• Share credentials or access tokens with unauthorized parties
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform
• Use the service for purposes other than educational attendance management
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise system integrity

Data Usage

The application collects and processes attendance data from Google Meet sessions and stores it securely in Google Cloud Firestore and BigQuery. All data is scoped to your institution and is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.

Availability & Liability

AttendanceX is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
